The Love Letter Project

The Love Letter Event is over. Thank you to all the artists and writers who participated. We are so surprised with how many submissions we received. In this issue, there are letters from 5 different countries and 8 different states. Wow! Have a happy Valentine's day everyone!

For Valentine's Day this year, the magazine is launching "The Love Letter Project" which hopes to spread a little love during these harrowing times. The goal of this project is to create an entire issue filled with anonymous love letters. The love letter doesn't necessarily have to be to a person but can be a love letter to yourself, your identity, your culture, your favorite song, your favorite food, etc. It can even be a love letter to something absurd like a pencil sharpener. Have fun with it!

We also need art and photography for this specific issue so artists and photographers please submit your art centered on the theme "Love Letter." You can interpret the theme however you want. The magazine is very flexible.

Submission date: January 16, 2021, to February 13th, 2021

Submit as many pieces as you like!

Submission details for art/photography:

Please email your piece as a jpeg to icelollyreview@gmail.com with the subject as "Love Letter Project." In the body of your email either include your real name or a pseudonym you would like to be published under. Please also include your country or state of residence and the medium (watercolor, digital, pastel, etc) of your artwork. The last thing you need is a title for your art piece. If you like you can include a brief third-person bio to go along with your piece (this is optional).

We accept all mediums.

Please email your piece as a word, pdf, or google doc to icelollyreview@gmail.com with the subject as "Love Letter Project".

In the body of your email please include a pseudonym (fake name) you would like to be published under. You do not need to include your real name. Please also include your country or state of residence. If you like you can include a brief third-person bio to go along with your piece (this is optional).

Love letters cannot exceed 3,000 words for spacing reasons and must be written in English.

Love letters can be written in any style (prose, poetry, spoken word, etc.)
